Outside of work:

There's a stereotype that devs turn coffee into code. I'd like to debunk that and make clear that the cup you clicked to get here does not contain coffee - that's tea 🍵.

Now: Although I'm not a full-time nomad, I spent a fair amount of time moving here and there. In my 20s I lived in 5 different European countries and travelled to many more. The majority of that was by hitchhiking (by the way, there's no better way to learn a new language quickly!). I had to wait until my 30s to put a cherry on top of it - go outside of Europe for the first time, hitchhike a boat and sail across the Atlantic to South America which I traversed all the way from north to south. The whole journey took me a year and eventually turned out to be a long-overdue sabbatical.

I settled down since but my adventurous spirit remained and I'm always open for challenges both in professional and personal life.

Time for some (non-controversial) statements:

  • - Apple products have terrible UX
  • - Twin Peaks is dramatically overrated. So is The Office.
  • - Japanese car brands > all the others
  • and most importantly:

  • - The place of 🍍 is on top of 🍕
